Family pictures

A message from Grandma Read:
---------------------------------

Karen -- Thank you for starting the Read Family Blog. What a great idea! It looks great. I've never even seen a blog before, so this will be fun. How good that you found an apparently nice family to work for. This will be a great experience for you, I believe. We're looking forward to seeing you very soon.

Love, Grandma

The Stivers

Well I actually have some big news to share although it's not that new anymore and I'm sure my mother has already told most of you. I found a job a a nanny in NJ, a town called Montclair. There are two girls 7 & 5 and they are expecting a baby in February. They are Catholic and seem really nice. I talk to Beth (the Mom) frequently on the phone.
Love,
Karen

Cool Temple Pic

A friend of mine at work, Bob Unger, took a helicopter tour of San Diego yesterday ($550/hr for 1.3 hours) and snapped this pic while he was up there. Thought you'd enjoy seeing it!

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to all my family. As all of us grandchildren get older and move to various parts of the country and participate in various exciting activities, I thought it would be a good idea to begin a Read Family Blog where we can share pictures, comments, videos, ideas, news, recipes and who knows what from our lives. Ths website is pretty easy to use and if you need detailed instructions I can give them to you. Mom, ask one of your tech-savy children, they'll be happy to help.
Since we decided not to give the usual wrapped gifts for Christmas anymore, I thought this might be a good gift I could give to everyone. And this way we can keep track of what everyone is doing. So keep us updated!
Love,
Karen J.
